Spanish is the first language of Costa Rica. English is taught as a second language. Since Costa Rica 's economy is based on tourism many people speak English fluently.
I would recommend you learn basic Spanish if you are visiting Tabacon Springs. It is always more fun if you can speak the language and you can make more friends.
